The greatest Footprint we can leave in the hearts of those we've met in Life, is a Happy Memory.

One of Gary's Footprints embedded in my memory was that 'Ever Constant SMILE of His' as he walked thru the halls of Columbian during our High School years. What a nice memory :-)  May His sweet & funny memories soften our sadness & tears.      Blessings, Diana 'Hyde' Smith

I was so saddened to hear of Gary's sudden death!  Our list of people from our class who have died is growing and it makes me very sad.  I have many happy memories of Gary through the years.  He always was in my home room and we always sat near to each other because he was an "A" and I was a "B.". He was always smiling and always could make me laugh!  I was so impressed with all that he had accomplished in his life!  I never knew he did so many things!  I last saw him at Walmart right before Christmas a few years ago.  I had run into Sharon Hoffer and we were standing in the aisle remembering the old days and Gary walked by looking very dapper in a wool trench coat and scarf.  We all stood there and talked and could not believe how quickly the time has passed since we were in high school!  I hope that there is a special time at our big 50th to remember those who are no longer with us!

I remember Gary as that tall handsome basketball player that was one of the nicest guys. I remember as we grew older and started going to reunions, I remember that great sense of humor he had and also his laughter when everybody got together and talked about something funny. I think that Gary, in some way, will find a way to be with us this Fall at the class reunion. No one is ever forgotten when so many remember them.
