See what you've started Tom Chaney? Debbie was a really good friend in Jr High. I think we walked to and from school everyday. She was so quiet and shy but such a good friend to the new girl. We didn't share any classes in high school so we drifted apart, but still managed to walk to school on occassion. She was the first person my age that I had ever lost in an accident. I have thought of her often over the years.
Debbie was one of the sweetest people to ever walk this earth. When I was a new student at Columbian, she reached out and made me feel comfortable. Losing her so young and so close to graduation was a very difficult time in my life.
