I began my teaching career at Clinton School in Seneca County from 1960 until 1966, I married my wife Karen in 1965 and took a job in Clark County at Shawnee High School teaching English and then moved to the middle school where I taught for 27 years. I taught Civics, English, reading, math, science, Eastern Hemispheric history, and American history and the Constitution. I coached football, basketball, track, baseball, and softball during my teaching career. After retiring, I traveled with wolf-dogs and did wolf education for 13 years and we saw 65,000 people at our presentations. I was hired to research an after-school reading program and have been and still am the Director of the program for the last 24 years. It is a Springfield City Schools funded program. I am into old cars and have an original 1938 DeSoto and a 1949 hot rod Lincoln.
