Earl L. Chenault

Earl's name was included in a list of deceased classmates printed in the introduction of the 20th year reunion booklet, in 1984.

TAMPA, FL- Earl Lavern "Saw-se-weh" Chenault, 70, of Tampa, FL passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. He was born December 6, 1946 in Richmond, VA the son of Earl Chenault and Etheleene J. (Thomas) Chenault. Earl graduated from Topeka High School in 1964. He attended the University of Kansas and The University of Texas El Paso. He worked on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and later worked in building construction until he retired. Earl was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Survivors include 2 sisters, Venida Chenault of Lawrence, KS and LaVonne Goslin (Robert, Sr.) of Bayfield, WI; 2 brothers, Bruce Chenault of Lawrence, KS and John LeClair of Mayetta, KS. He will be missed by his Tampa family. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Duane Chenault, and a sister, Nadine Milne. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Danceground Cemetery in Mayetta, KS. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton

Earl will not be attending the reunion but however, is living quite well in Florida!
