Omer F. (Fred) Cooper

Omer ‘Fred’ F. Cooper, 57, Topeka, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at a local hospital.

He was born July 31, 1946, in Topeka, the son of Omer F. and Julia Allen Cooper.  He graduated from Topeka High School in 1864.

He was in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.  He currently was employed at Ernest-Spencer, Inc. in Meriden.

Survivors include one brother, Steven A. Cooper, Topeka.

No services will be held.  He was cremated.  Cremains will be scattered in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Died: Jan. 3, 2004, Topeka

Omer Fred Cooper served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  At the time of his death, he was employed by Ernest-Spencer, Inc. in Meriden.  He is survived by his brother, Steven A. Cooper.

Fred was cremated, and his ashes were scattered in Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
