Gale attended school in Salina before moving to Topeka and graduating with the class of 1964. He attended Kansas State University for one year.
His obit said he died June 7 from motar wounds received during a battle in Vietnam. Services were held for him at Grace Baptist Temple, Salina.
Gale is survived by his mother, his father, three sisters, two brothers, four grandparents, and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Smith, Culver.
