Patrick, U.S. Navy, was killed by enemy rocket fire while conducting a river assault operation in the Kinh Hai Myoi Tan River in Dinh Tuong Province, northwest of Cat Be in South Vietnam.
After graduating from THS, Patrick attended Washburn University, entering the Navy in 1964. He was a member of Seward Avenue Baptist Church, Topeka.
Patrick is survived by his foster parents, two brothers, a sister, a step-brother and a step-sister.
