Robert was born on August 15, 1946 and passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
Robert was a resident of Lenexa, Kansas at the time of his passing.
He was a graduate of Kansas State University.
He was an Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Marcia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, at the Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Rd., Prairie Village, KS with a brief reception to follow.

Several people asked at the reunion about Robert Shideler. In talking to another classmate I learned that Robert died as a result of an accident at his farm. His dog had fallen in a well, and Robert tried to get him out. His wife became concerned when he didn't return home, and eventually he was found.
