Cheryl L. Holt, 69, of Tecumseh, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born August 4, 1946 in Topeka, the daughter of Tom and Marjorie (Hockett) Hummer.
Cheryl graduated from Topeka High School in 1964. She was a homemaker and was employed part time by Shawnee Heights Elementary School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Cheryl married Robert F. Holt on June 29, 1969 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include their children, Rance J. (Amy) Holt of Jonesboro, AR, Regan Holt of Tecumseh, two grandsons, Jaret and Layton and her brother, Terry Hummer of Topeka and several aunts and cousins.
Cheryl was preceded in death by parents and her brother, Tommy Hummer.
Cheryl will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
