In Memory of Davida J. Kelly

1947-2014

Davida J. Kelly, 67, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014.  She was born April 2, 1947 in Atlantic City, NJ, the daughter of William and Davida Jones Kelly.

Davida had resided in Philadelphia prior to moving (back?) to Topeka in 1977.  She graduated from Topeka High School and attended Washburn University.  She was employed (by) Luce Press Clippings for over 20 years prior to retiring due to her health.  Davida was a member of Greater Brown Chapel AME.

Survivors include her son, Sean Kelly of Phoenix, AZ, and her siblings, Steven Kelly of Topeka, David Kelly of Topeka, Dennis Kelly of Topeka, Kimi (Joe) Johnson of Lawrence, and Thomas (Myisha) Thompson of Topeka.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.  Private inurnment will take place in Topeka Cemetery at a latter date.
