(July 26, 1950 - December 25, 2015)

Lynette Marie Decker, 65, of Perry Kansas, formerly Topeka passed away peacefully in her sleep Christmas morning after a long battle with colon cancer. She was born July 26th 1950 in Lynch Nebraska to Jack Wilson and Verda (Pinger) Wilson. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1968. She worked for Kansas Agricultural statistics for 39 years. Lynette enjoyed traveling, doing adventurous things with her husband and spending time with family. She went to 49 states in her lifetime. Survivors include husband Ted, son Thad (Cathy), Mother Verda and two sisters Cindy (Jeremy) Mcdowell and Denise (Steve) Jeanneret, and granddaughter Trisha. Services will be held Tuesday, December 29 at 1pm at Chapel Oaks Cremation and Funeral Services. 235 SW. Topeka Boulevard. Visit www.chapeloaksne.com for online condolences.
