Sherry Minerley Edwards

I received a BA in Education, and a MA in Psychology. Following college, I traveled extensively, and lived & worked in NYC, Boston, Palo Alto, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Eleuthra, and Exuma. Sailed the Caribbean, lived in Miami & Boca Raton, Florida for almost 20 years.

My husband was a pilot with Eastern, and I had a consulting business in Miami. Later we were partners in a stress management facility in Exuma in the Bahamas, where companies sent their executives for stress, burnout, and substance abuse.

Never thought I'd return to the cold north, (until my mom & dad became ill.) Or, that I would ever be a "state worker," (until my company went public just before "Black Monday" and we lost everything!) It turns out I was very lucky to be able to come back home to take care of my family and start over. Never say never!

I retired in 2012 as the Director of Staff & Organizational Development at the NYS Department of Labor.

I'm currently Vice President of Winter Racing Enterprises in Ocala, Florida and enjoying retirement traveling between NY and Florida, and operating a boutique, "Imagine That!" in Clifton Park, NY.
