My high school years were pretty quiet. I was involved in the Concert Choir all 4 years. I worked as a carhop at a rootbeer stand for a couple and supported my horse with the money that I made. Other than that, it was a pretty quiet existence, never even ditching a class. Then, I was arrested on Graduation night because we were out in the boonies drinking! Oh horrors, nobody ever did that!

Worked for a finance company, then insurance companies for almost 30 years. Left the insurance world, worked with my lawyer/CPA husband until we retired in 2006.

Now I volunteer with Schnauzer Rescue of Texas.

moved to East Texas, Kilgore, in 1980. Moved to Hopkinsville, KY in 1983, back to Tucson in 1985. We moved to Austin Texas in August 2006 and we are still here after 18 years. Austin is a great city but experiencing overgrowth in population. It is way too big now, so we stay out in the 'burbs for the most part.

"I've been everywhere!" Not really, but I have been a lot of places, including Europe, The Netherlands, The Caribbean, Aruba, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, to name a few. I have been to all 50 states and US Territories.

King George is my favorite.

New: The Women by Kristen Hannah. A story about nurses in Viet Nam. An absolute must read!

I worked in the insurance industry for close to 30 years, then worked with my husband with his law/CPA tax practice for the last 10 years. We are now retired and enjoying our life in Austin Texas. I have 3 dogs, all miniature schnauzers . All of them are rescued dogs. I also work with a miniature schnauzer rescue group. My husband's sister lives in still lives in Pinetop, Arizona with his wife. I enjoy traveling, photography and stuff with the dogs.
