What did you do after graduation?
I had four beautiful children after graduation & also attended Pima College for my LPN & RN and University of Phoenix for my BSN & MSN. I worked @ TMC, St. Joe's & El Dorado Hospitals. In 1990, I started working in Nursing Education as a nursing instructor @ Pima College until 2008, from 2003 - 2008 @ the University of Phoenix in the LPN-BSN Program as the Clinical Coordinator-Lead Faculty, & the U of A College of Nursing Accelerated Partnership Nursing Program from 2008 - 2009. I was out of work for one year during the ression and in 2011 started working @ Pima County Health Dept. in the First Things First Grant as a Child Care Nurse Consultant - Public Health Nurse until I retired in July, 2013, after 40+ years in nursing!!!! As a Holistic Nurse & Yoga Teacher, I had worked @ Sunstone Cancer Center and had private clients for both Yoga & Healing Touch. I also was able to offer to my nursing students & faculty members Yoga for Stress Management. I am currently enrolled in the IYTA - IAYT - International Association of Yoga Therapist Yoga Therapist through the Grandfathering 300 hour Program through Integral Yoga @ Yogaville, Virginia.
