Beckie Peterson Schuster

I spent time with a young man during my year at Secrest, and then I went to SRHS and had to wait till he came to SRHS. In 2000 we found each other on classmates.com and at that time we werent able to hook up. Now, we are just anticipating when we will be able to see each other again. What a great romantic story this will be. Hopefully, BP & DS will be together once again.

Had my mom and dad not moved to Maryland, so that my mom could secure a fantastic job at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, I would have been able to graduate with my friends at Santa Rita High School. Instead, in my last year of high school, I was forced to adapt to a new school, and just make it through the year. I was blessed to be a part of the Advanced Mixed Choir and the Womens Choir as their accompianist. In 1978, our Choir sang "Peace, Peace I Leave With You". Since then, I had been on the search for a copy of that music. This year, after 35 years, I was able to talk to the composer of the music and he graciously sent me that music. To this day, I still feel, that music (as we performed it at the Baccalaureate) was and is the most beautiful ever. I cant wait to conduct the music with my own choir.
