Maria Shackelford Moles

As a 40 year Type 1 diabetic, I have stayed home during this COVID-19 pandemic. I can’t wait to travel to Tucson and visit with everyone at the reunion. We sold our tri-level home of 24 years in 2019 and moved into a one story home!! I am very happy to not have any stairs. I have spent the last 2 years decorating it. Next year, my husband and I will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and want to travel to Europe or New Zealand. I would love to talk to any of you that may have traveled to either place and get some recommendations and insights!! See you in September!!

It was exciting to be involved with the yearbook, FBLA and the National Honor Society during my years at Sunnyside. However, it was even more exciting and a source of pride to go to a high school with such outstanding football and wrestling teams. I have friends from college that live in Tucson and they are always telling me what a great football team Sunnyside has every year.
