Took my time getting through college, had way too much fun...finally graduated with my BAED in Speech, Communications and Theatre with a Vocal Music minor from NSU in 97.

Got my first teaching job just outside Houston and have been teaching 18 years now. I wasn't very popular or confident in high school, but have now finally found myself and I love my life. I teach theatre and direct between 2-3 plays/musicals a year. It is hectic, but I love it.

I met my husband who taught at the first school I worked for, he was the band director. Three years later on 7-1-00 we got married. We have 2 children Thomas born 6-12-03 and Isabel born 10-3-05. We currently live in Katy, Texas, a very nice suburb just west of Houston. We love it here, but I hate the weather!! I miss actually having seasons and the humidity really hates my hair. Plus we have hurricanes!!! We still have damage around here from Hurricane Ike.

I just opened a new high school in Katy, TX called Obra D. Tompkins HS. I am the director of theatre and Performing Arts Center Manager. I love what I do!
