Will Rogers High School Community Foundation supports school in many ways
At the urging of the Will Rogers High School and Tulsa Public Schools administrations, the Will Rogers High School Community Foundation was formed in 2010 by Dick Risk, Class of 1959, as a “not for profit” corporation. It has received a Letter of Determination from the Internal Revenue Service that it qualifies under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) as a tax-exempt public charity, meaning contributions are tax deductible by the donor. By the end of 2017, the foundation had donated in excess of $400,000 to the school.
The primary mission of the Foundation is to raise and receive charitable contributions from friends and alumni of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and from the general public, to manage and invest the contributed mission and priorities. Additionally, the Foundation offers a resource of knowledge, through its Officers, Directors, Advisors, Friends of the Foundation and other volunteers, to the School administration and faculty to develop and conduct academic programs and community services.
