Don Wilson was born April 26, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Troy M. Wilson and Mary Dodson-Wilson. He died Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Tulsa at the age of 73 years. Don was reared and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1959. He continued his education attending the University of Tulsa. He proudly served his country with the Oklahoma Air National Guard. Don was married November 18, 1981, to Candice Russell. He spent much of his working life with Boeing and Rockwell as a production control manager. Even after retirement, he continued his work as a consultant. Don was an avid car enthusiast and owned several show cars. He had entered many car shows, winning several awards. He a lso enjoyed spending his free time fishing, but especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Troy M. Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church in Owasso with Pastor Chuck Horton officiating. Serving as honorary casket bearers will be Ron Perigo, Dan Nolen, Mitch McLaughlin, and Brad Jones. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Don’s memory to the First United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry, 13800 East 106th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
