Joe and I were friends from Elementary School, not so much from High School. I remember Joe as being artistic. Like all of those in this list, gone too soon and missed.
Joe and I were friends from early on doing art projects and charity events. He was a creative soul who loved his friends and family even today I remember the VW Bug competition in the mall and staying until the mall closed to finish the last details…. I do not remember who won but we had a great time. Our paths crossed many times in our futures since we both did visual store display: Joe in Atlanta, and I traveling the South. We both worked together in Tuscaloosa for a short time because he moved back to be with his mother and I was preparing to move to Va. Yes, I remember Joe and I am sure he is making heaven a glowing beautiful design project.
