Upper Arlington High School
Class Of 1965
ANNOUNCEMENTS

Upper Arlington High School

Educators Hall of Fame, 2017

All of us can remember high school educators or staff members who

touched us in some way.  It might have been through the wisdom they

shared, the challenges they provided, the knowledge and passion they

had for teaching or the genuine care they exhibited.  No matter how they

connected with us, our thoughts about them still evoke warm feelings

for them and for our high school years.

We wish to honor these dedicated professionals by nominating them for

recognition in the Upper Arlington High School Hall of Fame.  Every

other year we will recognize these special people through induction

into the Hall.

Each inductee will have an area of the high school named in his or her

honor, and a bronze plaque will be placed in that area to commemorate

that educator’s commitment and achievements.

Former Hall of Fame Inductees include:  Dr. James Allen, Shirley Behnke,

Robert Ginther, Jean Guddat, Walter Heischman, Lester Jackson, Richard

Larkin, Ellis Lutz, Marv Morehead, Vera K. Randall, David Shelby, Pat

Stewart, Phil Wagner and Charles Will.

The guidelines are as follows:

*  The nominee must have served a minimum of five years as a teacher,

coach, counselor, staff member or administrator.

*  During their tenure they made a significant difference in students’

lives and the culture of Upper Arlington High School.

*  Nominations can come from current and past staff, alumni, parents and

community members.

*  Nominees must have left the district at least five years ago.
