(I know all the super smart kids were in band)

I've had a good life over all. I opted to go into the United States Navy instead of college. I feel that was a great decision. I loved being a submariner and broke out of my passive shell.
Shortly after a Honorable Discharge in 1992 I got engaged, married and moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Two years there and the ex and I moved to the Nashville area and I became a Tennessean in 1994. We had a biological daughter and we adopted our other. 24 years later and two bright children. I moved out.
July 4th, 2016 I married a wonderful woman. The word devotion is an understatement. Kanitha has given me new views, different perspectives and unbounded love. I love her daughters. It was all a package deal. If I was going to gain her as my prize I had to be willing to be a father too. I chose to be a father.
I am a Maintenance technician. I enjoy fixing tenants needs. Not a high paying job but the ability to make a person smile when an a/c is fixed is priceless. I've had a few different jobs in these 30 years. A truck driver for 13 years, an UPS supervisor for 3 years. I finally went to college when I was 38 and graduated with a 3.8... A grade I have never before accomplished. I learned Trigonometry for Christ sake.

School Story

As I've grown older I have came to appreciate the CULTURE we had as Urbana High School students.
We had the ability to leave campus at lunch to go to restaurants out in town or to go to our houses. My children are amazed that was even legal.
We had a Monster! Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
We had a great Marching Band large enough to do script Ohio.
We had several races and we all seemed to get along pretty well.
We had a radio station. What was it called?
We had great boosters. Our sports teams and band were very well provisioned.
We were from a small town.
