School Story:
Freshman Daze. When I was a freshman, some of us were sold to the Ag teacher, Mr. Valentine. His slave job for us was to wash his car(a 55 Plymouth). He parked it in front of the barn on the "hill", gave us a hose, a bucket, some rags, a can of Comet scouring powder, and left it with us. I'm sure he meant for us to wash the car with plain water and clean the whitewall tires with Comet---but he didn't say that. When he came back and found out that we washed the whole car with Comet he nearly had a heart attack. But he was a good sport about it after it turned out that we hadn't destroyed his paint job and said it was the best car wash he ever had.
A year or so later Mr. Stegal was the freshman sponsor. For his talent presentation before being auctioned off he led the student body in a cheer for homecoming. Using some unique choreography he said, "Skiddy boo, skiddy bah, rah, rah, rah."
