Bennie Bob Boevers

Bennie Bob Boevers, 57-year-old Vinita resident, died Thursday, January 31, 2008, after an extended illness.

He was born July 9, 1950, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Donna Marie Boevers and the late Ivan Boevers.

Bennie greatly enjoyed his friends and his work at the Big Cabin Truck Plaza.

He is survived by a daugher, Kandie Wood; two grandchildren, Hailey Jolene Wood and William Lane Wood; a sister, Janet Marie Shaw, and husband John Shaw, who were faithful caregivers to him during his illness; six cousins, Donna Gayle Goldtrap, Gary Beavers and wife Barbara, Carol Tinney, Pamela Powers and husband Jim, Patricia Williams and husband Dewayne, and William McMahan; a niece, Jessie Russell; a nephew, Jason Dobbs; and and aunt, Aline McMahan, of Chickasha. 

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Jake and Beulah Boevers and Benjamin and Dona J. Vogel; an uncle, Wilson Boevers, and wife Amy; an aunt Gwendine Vogel; and an uncle. Billy McMahan.

Funeral services were held at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Justin Turner officiated.  Burial followed at the Timpson Chapel Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Bennie I got to know a little as I could always out run him. Made him so mad to be running and turn around and say Hurry UP.
