Lori Cronk Ashwell

Most know I got married in September of our Senior year (not the smartest thing I ever did!) and then surprise, I found myself expecting in January 1988. Kristina was born just over 3 months after graduation. Then Justin came along in May 1993.

September 1995 I accepted a position at Shenandoah Life Insurance and I'm still hanging in here. I am also working part-time at Colors & You Boutique at The Forum. Stop by most any Saturday and see me!

I am a very proud Aunt to my sister's two adorable, active boys who live in Blue Ridge and also to my brother's precious daughter and son who were adopted from Guatemala in 2006 and 2007 respectably and live in Orlando.

5/22/09 - Wow so much has happened since I originally posted this. My Dad passed away in November 2008 due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. Shenandoah Life was taken over by the state in February - I'm hanging in with the company hopeful that a buyer can be found. I am separated after over 21 years of marriage. Very different being a single parent.

Kristina graduated with honors from Virginia Western in May and moved to Richmond in August to attend VCU. This after she spent a third summer out of the country with International World Changers.

Justin is a junior at Byrd and is now driving. He has Ms Laughlin for DC History - it's become a family tradition!
