After WBHS I went back and forth from Roanoke to Richmond. Dropped out of VCU. On my way out west, I stopped and stayed in New Orleans, cooked in some nice restaurants, and met many GREAT people. I did return to VCU and received my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. My area of focus was Printmaking (mostly lithography mixed with digital media)and Jewelry Making (women's wear with a Pop Art aesthetic). Even though I have sold several pieces and have had work in a couple shows, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to producing anything. Therefore, it doesn't pay the bills and I do it purely for self satisfaction. For the past few years I have bounced from job to job before deciding upon opening my own restaurant. Most notably, I was the Executive Chef of the Virginia Governor's Mansion for Governors Warner and Kaine. So there, in a nutshell, is my life in 20 yrs. If you're ever in Richmond, look up The Black Sheep and be sure to tell 'em you're a "fightin' terrier". Who knows, maybe a bone will be thrown your way.
