Melinda Mathis Crum

After high school I went to Northeast. I continued to work at the service station til 2004. I went to work for Tippah County in October 2004 and love it. Not many people actually say they love their job...but I do. I have been with Donald for 10+ years, but we made it official June 1, 07. I hope to some day have a family...and I do realize my time is running out...haha!! I am very active in my church and I continue to TRY and play sports..haha..I play Ladies Softball in the summer at Walnut. I can not beleive we have been out of school almost 20 yrs...time flies...

Oh the memories...how I wish things were as simple as they were then...of course we thought it was a crisis when our boyfriends broke up with us or we lost a ballgame....little did we know just how much we had it made. I know alot has changed since we were in school...lots of the class rooms have moved and there are new teachers. I remember Mr Ingrams History classes, getting to school early just so you could set at the front door and watch everyone else arrive and dicuss the "trauma" in our lives with our friends. Then there was break..no wonder we were all so small...we made enough trips around the school in that 10-15 minutes. Basketball was my favorite. The excitement before a big game, the crowd cheering you on. Things arent like that now...the last BB games I have gone to...the students werent even there to support their team. I remember the red section of the stands behind the goal being full of students cheering you on and then the parents filled the rest of the stands...it is sad that no more people support the team now.
