After having been a high school band director for 25 years with National Award Winning Bands in Grand Rapids MN, I left to pursue the family cleaning business. We shut down the restoration side of the business in about 2012... Much happier.
We are working to move our cleaning business (Saiger's Steam Clean, LLC) to our daughter Jena and Son in law Aron.
About 3 years ago I ventured into the world of selling a speciality line of cleaning agents with the name "Saiger's Sauce". It caught on and is in one of the largest distributors currently exclusively (JonDon) in the USA. We are also in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and South Korea. Kind of surreal to see pictures of your products with your name on it cleaning the Samsung Tower in South Korea!
I am also part of the "Cleaners Giving Back" Team that travels the country and cleans Ronald McDonald houses and other needy organizations for free while also training other cleaners proper cleaning techniques. Currently as I write this I have two very large companies wanting to hire me for the Saiger's Sauce rights and production. (I ended up going with Simoniz USA & Harvard Chemical granting Trademark licensing rights to use our name, and also was hired as an employee with Harvard Chemical and Simoniz)
With the many new ventures from our cleaning business and Saiger's Sauce line, I have been asked to present at many National cleaning conventions. I will be presenting again in September 2019 in Las Vegas at one of our National cleaning conventions. November I will be leading at team in Phoenix at 3 large Ronald McDonald houses.
I have been married to Shari to Shari since 2001. Our 3 girls are married and we are up to (now 5) Grandbabies (Logan 6, Blake 4, Nora 3, Parker 2, Levi)
I retired from snowmobile and jet ski racing at the age of 46...now I am saving up for new knees 😁(Oct 2, 2020 I had a knee replacement in my right knee which still hurts as I type this July 2021...argh!)
A couple of years ago we purchased a little place in Palm Harbor, FL just out of Clearwater Beach, FL. It's our little single wide with indoor plumbing 😁. We are now enjoying time away from the cold Minnesota winters.
