I have acquired extensive experience as a real estate and business professional here in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.

In 1982, after graduation from Tech, I attended UVA on a football scholarship along with Antonio Rice and John Smith. During My Jr year, struggling with what career to pursue, I became a licensed real estate agent. I obtained my real estate sales license in the District of Columbia in 1986

In 1987, after graduation from the University of Virginia I joined the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization where I managed the development of over 60 new and renovated homes across Ward 7 that we sold to 1st time home buyers in the DC HPAP program.

In 1994, I received my Law degree from the DC School of Law and joined Barrister Title and Escrow where I served as a Settlement Attorney.

In 1995, I returned to the real estate industry and joined Barrueta & Associates as a commercial leasing broker representing owners and tenants throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.

Currently, I serves as the Managing Director-Associate Broker for KW Commercial, a division of Keller Williams Preferred Properties. I am a member of the Agent Leadership Council (ALC) and the Commercial Leadership Council (CLC). I am supported by a team of diverse real estate professionals offering a full range of services across all commercial ( and residential) real estate property types.

In 2005, I was elected President of the Maryland/DC Chapter of CCIM and in 2007 elected to Regional Vice President (Region 10). In 2009, graduated from the CCIM Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy and received the Susan Groeneveld Award of Excellence.

The CCIM designation is the highest professional honor one can attain within the commercial real estate industry. Less than 1% of all real estate professionals hold this designation. Currently, I serve on the national Board of Director for the CCIM Institute.
