I couldn't make it to the 10-year reunion, since our daughter was born the following week and we were in California. But I'm looking forward to attending the 20-year reunion and seeing all you good-looking dudes and dudettes again!
Our little family is back in Michigan, living in Farmington Hills. Sophia's in 4th grade and Jackson's in 1st grade. I'm in the magazine publishing business, and am Senior Editor at PGA Magazine. My lovely wife, Rebecca, is also a writer and editor.
School Story:
I really remember the fun of the Pistons playoff runs in 1988 and 89. Getting last-row seats in the Silverdome to watch the Pistons kill off the Celtics in 1988 and chanting "Beat L.A.!" in the parking lot until the cops kicked us out. Then watching the final game of the 89 Finals on Palacevision and going nuts with everyone. Not school-specific, but what a great way to end high school.
I also remember all the great hang-out houses: Dave Ryan's for hoops and trampoline, Andy Lewis' for bumper pool and existentialism, parties at Diane Blakeman's mom's house, swimming at Julie LeMense's house .. and of course ping pong and pool at Chez Jozwiak while we were avoiding homework.
And I remember sitting in my parents' basement with Dave Ryan, Dave Bihl and Kurt Mains all waiting to type English papers on our old Apple IIe. Were computers so hard to come by in those days?
