Ernie was a salesman through and through. His personality was so bright that he attracted a smile from everyone that he met. He loved Utah. The mountains and the desert. He loved to go "rock" hunting throughout the many ghost towns in Utah. Whenever Ernie would go "rock" hunting, he would find the tallest peak and climb it. He never found many rocks but he certainly found all of the best views! Ernie loved to have fun. One of the things that he loved best was playing the slot machines either in Wendover or Las Vegas. He loved his family. A favorite acitivity was to build things to play on for his children. The child in Ernie never died. He had looked forward to grandchildren so he could once again, be a kid. He loved his family, always taking care of and providing for them. He was married to Vicki (Abell) Eberle who he met in high school. They were divorced in 2005.
