How about something on the river or one of the lakes. Maybe take a boat tour on the river. We all know it will probably be beautiful weather and hopefully...NOT humid! Just a thought!

Peggy Wheelock where and what's going on with you these days, Hello to Leann too! Lets contact Marry Riley her or a family member may still own the Property and we can kind of bring back Phils Beach for a day, should be lots of room these days, we could picnick, swim or play vollyball or something. I retired my schools in Lake County area in 2000 so not sure what's up there these days, I'm in Rockford now. But we can just ask Marry maybe she what she thinks! Glen Dahms

Hey Glenn! That would be fun, but I don't know if Phil's exists anymore ... I'm still taking care of my parents house in town so I'm there about once a month. I only live 12 miles from Wauconda so it's easy for me to go back ... I see Chuck Buschick several times a year, sometimes bump into Cheryl and Gary Thompson, etc.

Hi Peggy, Are you going this weekend. I was driving someone to Vernon Hills yesturday and came back to Rockford through Wauconda (route 176) just to drive around and take a look at the old neighborhood. My old house is the Moosehall on Maple Cheryls nice Brick house across from my old dentists house (which is the new addion to the fire station) down the street from mine is gone. It looks like they have just built another house. Not nearly as nice as Cheryls Mothers brick house with the brick front porch. My whole street is mostly parkinglot now it seems. All the houses on my side of the street are gone. Even the water tower in back of the old fire department is gone and a new one is 100' away or they moved it some how! I want to meet up with a few of my old freinds from the neighborhood and drive around and look the whole place over this weekend this Friday and Saturday during reunion days. Hope to see you again and all you other classmates from the good old days. Glen Dahms
