When I got out of Highschool I went into engineering school. I have decided that is about the only think I could have done since I have about a 5th grade reading ability and about the same spelling abillity. I really figured copping of Matt Sanders in Boners spelling class would pay off better. I managed to limp my way past all the classes and finished.....(fyi calc 2 is a biooootch). In 98 I had a really bussy year because I got married, had a kid, Graduated college, started a new job, and bought our first house.
My first job out of college did not start out very well. I was working in a toyota factory that made the dashboards for the camry. They had me helping install a mold because we were short on people at the time. They gave me a quick explination on how to operate the crane and handed it over. The mold weighed about 10 ton and could very easly push a person off a mold machine.......do I need to explain how I know this. Before you ask.....yes I pushed a person off the machined on accident. The funny thing was, that I got fired for laughing because the guy got knocked off not because of safty. It really sucked at the time but it makes for a great story now.
After that, I got a job working at Maytag. Maytag was purchased by Whirlpool and the factory was closed. My son was diagnosed with Autism around the same time so not having job gave us a great oppertunity to go where we needed to get him some help. We moved to Wisconsin in the fall of 02 and started a long intervention theropy for our son. He is doing amazingly well and today you would not be able to pick him out of a croud......that is untill he gets a drop of water on his close and strips down to his birthday outfit. He is a handfull but we would not trade him for the world.
Today we live in Highland Illinois. It is the same town that Brenda (Boo) and family are living. We are in the middle of transitioning from Wisconsin and starting new jobs and our life is crazy.
I want to tell Karen I am sorry for starting the class reunion and dropping off the face of the earth. She has done a great job with taking over where I left off.
