In Memoriam

Christine Henrich (Pirraglia)

From the words of Kris's daughter Kay Nchecho on July 2, 2017:

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have to post that my Mother passed away peacefully this afternoon after a long brave battle. I do not need to tell anyone what an amazing soul she is. I have heard stories from all her friends, people from all walks of life how she has changed them. My brother and I had the greatest mother in every sense, my father the best friend of a lifetime and words fail me right now to even come close to describing all she has done not just for me but for all she loved. Her strength in life will forever go unmatched, the depth of the love she had will never be measured, her laugh never replicated by another. Energy does not die but lives on, she will always be here just less orderly. She is at peace and no longer suffering and now can enter the next chapter of her existence and I am fully confident that if there is life beyond this one she is living it and guiding me in other ways. Thank you all for your friendship and love to her. You all made her know just how special she is.

Rest in Peace Dear Kris.

What a special soul she was!! I loved her in high school and was so blessed to have reconnected with her through Facebook the last 6 or 7 years.  I followed her struggles and prayed with her.  I am so sorry for all who loved her!! Heaven has a very special angel!!! Rest In Peace dear friend 💗

Hello Kris. You have inspired all of us. Your poetry and insight made us richer with an awareness beyond our wildest dreams. You helped all of us jump start day Whether it was grey and gloomy to the brightest of the most Beautiful Day that GOD CREATED. You always had a positive attitude from the first time we met at ST.JOHNS till this day. I'll miss my THAT 70'S BAND THAT YOU AND I looked forward to. We got there early so that we could have a good spot to dance and eat. We both looked forward to see our school family and the smiles on everyone's face. I do believe that your spirit is all around us and I know that you'll be with us next Tues at THAT 70'S BAND FREE CONCERT. I hope that you and I have the first dance together in your new life. LUCKY THEM. I'll alway's love you and miss you. Thank You for being my Friend. I LOVE YOU ALLAN

It is amazing how someone who you didn't hang around with in High School could touch your heart and emotions the way that Kris did later in life.  She was a kind, loving and special person who touched all of us on Facebook with her prolific writing.  We all looked forward to her rays of sunshine each day.  She was the first to send a messge or text when she knew your were not feeling well.  The world lost a special lady, but heaven got another special angel.  Rest in Peace Kris, you will be missed.
