Hi everyone! We just moved from Illinois (Lake Zurich) to Goodyear, AZ (a Phoenix suburb) 2 years ago last August. I've been working for the same company for 16 years and have 2 great kids. Dave is a 2nd year law school student in downtown Chicago at John Marshall and Laura is starting her junior year at University of Arizona in Tucson. She's an environmental science major and is working towards admission to medical school. My husband Steve drives a fuel tanker and was also a driver for Pepsi for 24 years.

We like to spend as much time on the water as possible in our spare time. We also want to travel the west as soon as we get a day off together!!

After high school I went to NIU in DeKalb for 4 years, got a job, got married, got divorced, got married, had kids, got divorced and then finally remarried for the (last) time. I've lived in Schaumburg, Rolling Meadows, Palatine, Crystal Lake, Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Streamwood and Lake Zurich since high school. Yes, I liked the NW burbs. :-)

We have a summer in cottage in Michigan on a little inland lake called Scott Lake. It's near the town of Bangor. Some day, in a million years, we'll retire and become snowbirds and spend our summers there.

It's been so great reconnecting with all the Westmont people here, at the events and on Facebook. Too bad I live so far now!! You all will have to make plans to come visit me in Arizona (not all at once please).

The main thing that sticks out in my memory were the history classes with Mr. Rice and Mr. Palm. Has anyone been in contact with them? Sure would be great if we could get some of our teachers to come to the reunion.
I also remember some weird tradition where everyone sang Happy Birthday to Renee Pilecek every day at lunch for like a year. She's another one I haven't heard of in several years. She and I were actually roommates the first two years of college at NIU...then again shared an apartment in Palatine for awhile after I got divorced.
