Well, finally ended up graduating college. The year I was at San Diego State did not count for much and when they asked me to leave, basically lost a year. I had come out to California to be near my parents and after 4 or so years, was not sure I would stay--really, really missed Bay and the great people there. (Nobody wore penny loafers here!)
The day I told my brother I was thinking of leaving after I graduate, he told me to meet him at a restaurant. Ended up meeting my husband there and staying which was ideal because we see my parents and brother (hard to believe we are so close given KP and I hated each other growing up) every weekend. They and my kids are truly my life. Love the fact you can ski one day and surf the next so it is not too bad here...but will always miss the nice people in Bay. My oldest left for college which seems so crazy and with the others in high school- well tons of wonderful memories from Bay come to mind! Sorry to miss the reunions, have this fear of flying..maybe with therapy I can make it to the 30th!
