Steve 78 - Connell

What have I been up to since 1978...hmmm, not much I guess. Oh wait, maybe a few things: Let's see, I went to college in San Antonio (Trinity) moved to Austin for several years and in '91 moved to Chicago where I still live. I work for myself as an illustrator and live in a high-rise overlooking Lake Michigan with Wrigley field out the back window. It's no Lake Tyler but it's not bad. I finally married (what took so long) in '04 to Libby who works as a political consultant and grew up in Ohio. We have no children so we are one of those pretentious urban couples who go out to dinner and complain about the noisy kids. No, we're not that bad! Anyway, Hope all my fellow WHS'ers are doing well.

The best thing I ever did in school was become photographer for the yearbook. Talk about free-reign! I seldom remember ever being in class my senior year. There was always something or someone to photograph...at least that's what I told the teachers. I think my best shot was the one I took of Jamie Nix sinking that winning free-throw to win state. Of course I had shots of some of you that I never released to the yearbook...better judgment prevailed! Hmmm, wonder if I could still blackmail some of you!
