Joe(y) Munoz

After graduation I attended TSTI Amarillo for about a year for commercial art but really didn't care for the school or the town very much so eventually came back to WF. Attended MSU off and on for about three years finally settling on Studio Art as my major (yeah, went for the BIG BUCKS but I do still have a metal sculpture piece in the art building!) but have failed as of yet to finish my degree plan. Moved to Austin in 99 and found a company that I absolutely fell in love with. Advanced from:
Forklift operator- Receiving supervisor- Procurement- Inventory Control Manager- Account Services (account manager) to finally what I think was my true niche: Network Systems Specialist in the IT department. I worked there for 8 years and would probably still be there but my family and I moved back to the hellhole..er um.. I mean THE FALLS about 11 months ago because my Mother had terminal cancer and has since passed away. I can honestly say, had it not been for that unfortunate circumstance I would never have come back to this town except for the periodic visit (no offense to those of you that actually wanted to stay here.) There are just so few career opportunities here and Austin had such a booming market (not to mention a kickass music scene)that I felt like I was at home. Ah well, the family and I are making a go of it here and my gig in the grocery biz should be up in about a year when my youngest son starts school and hopefully I can get an IT or IT related job somewhere around here.
Anyone in need of tech support in about 11 months?????

Skated by with my Mom's moral support and her monetary support for summer school.
Definitely one of those "if I only knew then what I know now yada yada yadas..."
