Since leaving Winfield a lot has changed. The first thing any fellow former classmate would notice though would be the physical changes. IE: I have had a nose job and had lasik surgery, I also have grown to 6' tall and a nice hefty 183lbs much heavier than the 110 I used to weigh in at WHS. I married right out of High School only to be divorced a year later. Spent five yrs alone and working on my career path. This June I'll be celebrating my fourth anniversary to my second wife. I have no children at this time, you might say my three English spaniels are my babies.

I was forced to leave Winfield High in 1997 after my sophomore year because the binney&smith crayola crayon factory closed down and my family was forced to relocate to Topeka our state capital. I finished my last two yrs of high school at Topeka high but Winfield is where I grew up and the place I called home. I was offered a scholarship to a community college but decided against it and went right out of high school into the grocery business. There I became an assistant department head and later a department manager. I did that stint with Dillons for almost 10 yrs. This last year I jumped ship to the Biglots Company where I’m now an assistant store manager and with any luck I’ll be running the store in 5 yrs. My goal is to run a hospitality unit for an assisted living facility.
