We are closing in on reunion night..    15 days from today we will gather for the football game and Mix and Mingle at El Torero restaurant.        Committee members will be there by 9.00 pm.   We expect a great night of fun, memories, and food and probably a few beverages to go along with it.  

Then on Saturday we will gather at Pinebrook Country Club for a night to remember.     A night full of delicious food, music,  a video slide show,  DOOR PRIZES including an incredible TV.

Hello Fellow Vikings!  

WE ARE 39 DAYS OUT FROM FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT AND MIXER AT El Torero which in our day was the Station. 

Then 37 days from tonight we will celebrate together with great memories, music, food, and drinks together and remember that 30 years has flown by too too quickly. 

Some special things are planned that night.  If you are on this page and have not bought your ticket yet please do.   The planning committe is very exctied.   Every day there is new surprises.   Have you heard we are drawing for a TV?   Do you know one of your generous classmates has made it possible for everyone to have a free drink.   Don't drink, no problem.  You get an extra ticket in for the drawings.

1.     IMPORTANT REUNION UPDATE:

To date, one ticket has been purchased for the Reunion Event on 10/5/13. A minimum of 50 tickets must be purchased prior to August 1st. If this goal is not met, the Reunion will be cancelled. We (the Planning Committee) have personally invested $400.00 (which we will lose if we cancel), and cannot afford to put additional money into the event (deposits for the DJ and the food and pending). 

To address this issue, we are reducing the price for a ticket to $35 through July 31, then it will increase to $50 as previously indicated. 
We understand the concern regarding the cost. We have planned a fun evening in a comfortable environment with minimal cost. We are confident that our prices are necessary and reflect the norm. (East Forsyth's 30 year reunion is in September, and their ticket cost is $40. North Forsyth's Class of 1982 charged $40 in advance, then $50 for purchases after the designated cutoff date). 

In order to encourage you and keep you up to date, we will give a daily count of payments received between now and July 31. 

If it becomes necessary to cancel the Reunion, everyone who purchased a ticket will be fully refunded.

Please understand that, due to space limitations, the main reunion event at Pinebrook on the evening of 10/5 is for the members of the NFHS Class of 1983 and their guests only. However, there are 2 other activities being planned that members of other classes are more than welcome to attend. There is a Home game on 10/4 against East Forsyth, then a Mix and Mingle directly afterwards at our old stomping grounds, The Station (now known as El Torero Mexicano and has excellent food and a great space for us to catch up). There is also a picnic luncheon in the works for the morning of 10/5, but a location has not been secured at this time. Please understand that either of these adjunct activities are secondary to the main reunion event on the evening of 10/5 and are NOT included in the cost of the tickets.
