Graduated from Davidson College in 1987. Met my wife Amy in the summer of 1984 when we were both camp counseors at Camp Grier in Old Fort, NC. Went to Vanderbilt Univeristy to study law and divinity. Graduated with a J.D. from the Vanderbilt School of Law and an M.Div. from the Vanderbilt School of Divinity, both in 1992. Amy and I married in the summer 1989. We spent a year in Charlottesville, VA in 1992-93 when I clerked for a federal appeals court judge. Amy and I moved to Charlotte in 1993. I have been practicing law (mostly employment law and business litigation) at Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A. since then, and Amy and I have been raising our three children.
