In 1993 I put myself through cosmetology school and graduated in 1995. I met John in October, 1993 More…and we have been together ever since. We bought a house on Forest Road 11 years ago. I opened my salon in February, 2002 and had the chance to buy it 4 months later. I have 5 girls working for me and 4 stations. My daughter, Christina is 27 and works for me doing manicures/pedicures. She also has her own cleaning business. My son, PJ is 21 and a senior at UNH. He is majoring in business and minoring in criminal justice and psychology. My other half (John) is partners at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, an accounting firm in Wolfeboro and has been there for 19 years.
I love what I do. I have a great life. I think I have come a long way since high school; lots of bad times but also great learning times. |
