I graduated from nursing school in 1983 and worked at Huggins Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit until moving to Fla in 1996. Met my future husband, Steve while attending a concert at Alton Bay Christian Conference Center.( I had actually worked with his parents for several years volunteering there on weekends.) Got married in 2002(in NH), bought a new home in Lake City in 2003. We have some wonderful neighbors , who have become close friends. Have 2 cats, no children. Started a new job this week (6/16) for Gentiva Home Care. Just finished 2 days of classroom otientation and am REALLY looking forward to working for this company. They are a large company and do some wonderful things for their employees- not the least of which is a thorough orientation, which is rare around this area!
Enjoy spending time with my husband, who works for a retirement comunity. We like to take weekend trips to see friends and family or just to get away. We both enjoy board games, jigsaw puzzles and movies, so that is often how we spend our mondays (or a trip to Jacksonville for shopping or the zoo)i also enjoy gardening, when Florida weather permits(not in the heat of summer- I stay in the air conditioning then!) We also look forward to our visits to NH to see my family and friends.(Steve's parents and grandmothers live nearby).
We attend a small church about 20 miles away, and are active members.
I LOVE scrapbooking (even sold Creative Memories for a while), baseball and football(the Red Sox and Patriots, of course- are there any other teams?)
