Rindy left us in March 11th, 2012 at the age of 57 while docked in Saipan.  At the time of her death, she was an officer in the US Merchant Marines and a second mate assigned to the US Naval Ship, MAJ Stephen W. Pless.  She was also a member of the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots (International Marine Division of the ILA), AFL-CIO.

The daughter of James F. and Gloria M. Beach, Rindy was a flag twirler in the Woodbridge Senior High School Viking Marching Band.
