Comments:

My wife who I met nine years after graduation, and went to Davis (whaaaat?) 😉 class of '78. We married in '92 in Yakima

The '80s were AWESOME! After the military (specialist in communications) I went back to school and started a long career as a Recording Engineer.

Worked with many artists in music, television and film.
Early 90's I left the concert arena and went into the broadcast arena and started my second career at KYKA 96.9FM in Yakima. Within 2 years I would find myself on the air at KMPS 94.1FM and KZOK 102.5FM in Seattle around this time everything would be changing, the age of digital and computer base systems.

This would open a whole new world with a voiceover career starting in Seattle and would take me around the world.

After 7 radio stations, 4 networks and over 6000 produced radio programs, I left CBS in 2007 and pursued my voiceover career being wine and dined by the mouse in southern California. I left the US market and pursued an international voiceover career in the UK & Canada, around this time, I co-founded the "Dream Network" in the UK with a buddy (Robert) in 2010 Robert and I found ourselves On-Air in the US as a CBS summer replacement show primarily East Coast but we did end up on KMPS HD2 in Seattle.
All while still producing shows around the world and also worked on syndicated shows as producer and talent.
In 2012 I decided to throttle back from 155mph to a comfortable 55mph and live life semi-retired.
still doing occasional voiceovers, but slowed way down and took a gig managing a century-old haunted movie theater in 2015.

Today: Independent Producer

School Story:

My first year at IKE (1978), It was my junior year (moved over from Edmonds, WA). A drummer in the Eisenhower Marching Band...

Memories? I remember watching the total eclipse outside of the band room, and noticing how the sounds outside went quiet, temperatures dropped.
Band trip too Hawaii '79 & Canada '80, playing at the games, the cafeteria, working in the office. When I first moved over, I got my first job (summer '78) through school - working at the Stop & Go Drive-in on Fruitvale (loved that job)!
After Stop & Go, I started working at Fruitvale Drive-In (my first theater job). Later I would work for the Country Drive-In the Mercy Quad and the Plaza.

I also started playing bass guitar my senior year, and I'm still playing today. I have sat in with many bands, recorded here and there and jammed with a few well-known artists, like Bo Diddley and been in the studios with many more from Starship to Duran Duran.

I have many memories of Mallory. I first met her my junior year, did this girl ever stop smiling? I remember her telling me that her dad interviewing Davy Jones of The Monkees and she sat there on a swing during the interview. And I would find myself thinking of her when I worked with Davy & Mickey years later. Other memories on band trips, seriously, did she ever stop smiling? Great kid and was sorry to hear of her passing.
