Graduated from UNC then moved to New York to work in advertising. Later married my college honey and moved to Atlanta where he did his medical residency at Emory. Started a small technology-based advertising agency and ended up selling to a big company when the Internet got hot. That gave me the freedom to work freelance and spend more time with my sons. Now we live in Wilmington where we enjoy beach, boating and working on our 100+ year old plantation house. Mr. Slayton would be glad to know that finally I can slow down enough to relax and read the classics.
I wish now that I had spent more time enjoying school instead of trying to find new ways to ditch it. Surely my kids won't believe my cautionary tales any more than I did those of my parents.
