Betsy and I were in the band together. We went to a lot of band parties after the football games. I remember one evening she drove away from Trechter Stadium with a big stack of 45s on the roof of her car. Needless to say, all were lost.
We weren't in love with each other, but I did take Betsy to the prom. We didn't stay in touch after high school, but I did keep track of where she was living and what she was doing in her life. It sounds like it was a good one.
I am sorry I did not do more to continue the valuable relationships that I formed in high school.
I agree with Roger. Betsy was fun and bubbly and a good friend to everyone. She had a wonderful laugh that was infectious. I wish I knew more about what she did after HS>
