What did you do after leaving BHS?
I married five months after turning seventeen and spent my seventh year pregnant with our son, Allen. Total disaster #1. When he was three months old I was back in Georgia and worked at Sunshine Bisquit Company until I remarried in 1968 and we moved to California. Disaster #2 but before the collards hit the fan I got involved with music, joined the Academy of Country Music, and was very blessed to be elected to serve on the Board of Directors in the catagory catagory as a singer/songwriter. We had one son, Tyler, divorced in 1983, and I have been deliriously happily divorced ever since. I've had three what I consider to be serious relationships since my last divorce, and a few stragglers just passing through, but I find myself happier when I'm not on a leash. When I was young I felt old and now that I'm old'er I want to feel and act young again. This is how I pull it off. I only look in a mirror where there's subdued lighting plus husbanditis and kiditis, added with dementia, helps me think I'm still 35 and Forever Young. LOL
