William Knibb has been an integral part of my formative years. The 5 years spent there has not been in vain & all can attest that it has shapen us in to who we are & has become.

After leaving William Knibb, I did a year at Westwood High School, then on to Brown's Town Community College where I did Business Administration. Also went to University College of the Caribbean in 2005, where I did Human Resource Management.

I am currently employed to Melia Braco Village as their Guest Relations Manager. So yes you guessed it.....lots of complaints, claims etc. It has lots of positives as well from meeting many from the echelons of society to the humblest and sweetest humans alive.

I enjoyed playing netball & being on the track team (even tho I couldn't run that well, but loved going to Boy's & Girl's Champs). I'm the girl who's always dancing to music that only I can hear, as the music was/is always in my head.

I loved to dance, & give jokes. I remember hanging out with Annette Williams, Nadine Brown, Michelle Travers, Hillary Jobson (We called ourselves the "Angel Massive"). Had so much fun at Mini & Miss William Knibb. Enjoyed the fetes immensely. Loved when Wayne & Seymour Stoddart used to sing in devotions.

I used to cry alot too, my classmates used to laugh at me & tell mi how mi "mawga", especially Maxine Pindling. I remember I came to school one monday morning with my hair press (not permed) & my mom gave me the then hairstyle, "bang" at the back & at the front. The breeze start blowing up my hairstyle & I began to cry. Annette used to say to me, "Gloria, u can't bawl, bawl so enuh, u na go fat." Twenty years later (unbelievably), I'm not crying anymore & I'm still not fat.
