My gratitude to the creators of this website. What a joy, the first time Delroy Scarlett told me about this site, I went on & it was like Robert Wallace at 5 years old receiving
a new toy for Christmas.

First I must thank all the Families in and around Falmouth for accomodating the country boys & girls from Albert Town, Freemans Hall, Spring Garden, Warsop, Troy & Ulster Spring into their homes as boarders. For me my Aunt V (Veda Foster-Hague), Ruth Robinson (Falmouth St.) & Amy Stewart (Cornwall St.) At tender ages of 12-17, most kids in the US are still at home, but for some Jamaicans we are at boarding schools. It does make us mature and be responsible at an earlier age than others. For me I missed my home very much in those days but made the best of the education that Knibb had to offer. (That was first class). Sometimes I could not wait until Friday to take the only country bus (Confidence) to go to Albert Town. Those were the days.
